Today my class is not having our Psychology ans Sociology Online Media lab, and tomorrow we don't have the lecture for that module and since we have done our job interview last for Communication Skills last week, today and tomorrow are holidays for most of us! Yay.
Anyway, yesterday during our Social Media Marketing and Analytics lecture, we had two guest speakers over from Riot. They are the people who did Ben & Jerry's campaign awhile back. Their company has only been around for 18 months but yet they have done many campaigns for SingTel, AirAsia and for more well known ones. What makes them special is that, their marketing strategies are not the typical traditional way of marketing but they incorporate Social Media to get people's attention more such as using Facebook. They want to have a sense of personal with the customers and know what they want so that they can give them the service that they yearn for.

When I was listening to them talking, Jose and Leon they were truly amazing. One they are young adults, Leon have just graduated and two they're doing something that they enjoy doing. You know a person is really successful in his career life when he enjoys doing the thing they do. They don't have to drag their whole body to work early in the morning because every day when they wake up, they have ideas what to do next and are eager to make that ideas happen.
It was a privilege listening to them. Not everyone gets to this opportunity to hear them talk, hear people who are doing a great job marketing and doing campaigns for companies.
We dream big, we have high hopes, we want to reach to the top... But remember it's ain't possible without the help of The Almighty, Allah. May Allah give us the right job that will not make us neglect Him. InshaAllah.
