Assalamu'alaikum. (May Peace Be Upon You)
School has just started back again... but sadly a new week is coming up. Week 11, moving forward to week 12 now.
Holidays were fairly ok. The last weekend was an unexpected weekend.
On Saturday, 26 June... all of us went to my aunt's house for a gathering. We celebrated belated birthdays, family catching up, and supposedly tahlil too but my uncle couldn't reach early to lead the tahlil. I guess we will be having it at my house as usual. :)
The next day, 27 June... I had an unexpected wake up news during Subuh (morning prayers). Mum woke me up for Subuh, then she said that Wak Esah has passed away. She is someone whom my dad has think of her as his late mother. One of the oldest lady in our family. Someone whom I look up to till now. InshAllah, moga-moga rohnya dirahmati Allah s.w.t.
Her friend is always Al-Quran. She never fails to bring out her aged Al-Quran whenever we visited her. Thus she has passed away so easily. It just felt so peaceful when we went to see her last Sunday.
I have never felt the touch of a grandmother (my dad's mother) before since she has passed away while I was still a baby. Thus the lost of my late grandfather's (late)brother's wife felt like it was nyanyi.
It is time to remind us to be prepared. When the time comes, everything we own in this world is not worth anymore. Nobody to stay with us, money can't be used to pay what we want, only our amalan stays with us. Don't run for the wealth in this world that you forget the pillars of Islam.
We came from Dust and will go back to dust
we take nothing but what our deeds
may Allah(SWT) help us All
